A jeweller’s craft
Momik Hakobyan is a jeweller. He carves wax by hand, casts by the lost-wax method, sets stones, works enamel and darkens metal so the relief reads clearly. He learned the craft in his family’s workshop in Yerevan, among moulds, stones and metal.
He also models in 3D. It lets him draw the fine lines of Armenian ornament with precision: the eternity sign, the pomegranate, the lace of the khachkar stone crosses, the letters of Mesrop Mashtots. Wax and 3D do not compete: each piece takes its own road to metal.

DavXmoM and other brands
In October 2025 he showed DavXmoM at the Igityan Center in Yerevan, a joint exhibition with the painter David Sahakyants. Figures from David’s paintings (hands, lips, dancers, warriors) became pendants, earrings and rings in silver, with garnet, aquamarine, nephrite, turquoise and enamel.
Momik also develops jewellery for other brands: he has modelled, carved and cast pieces for AGAPE and Grett, from signet rings to filigree.

Momique
Momique is his brand. The name comes from his own. Momik now lives in Spain, where he designs each piece and prepares its master model. The family workshop in Yerevan casts it in brass, sets the stones and finishes it by hand.
