DavXmoM: where painting becomes jewellery

DavXmoM brought together David Sahakyants' paintings and Momik Hakobyan's jewellery at the Igityan Center in Yerevan. Hands, lips, dancers and warriors stepped out of the canvases and became pendants, earrings and rings.

Each figure was first carved by hand in wax and cast in 925 silver. Then came the stones and enamel: garnet, agate, aquamarine, nephrite, pearl, turquoise, pyrite and lab-grown sapphire.
